As the CDC has reported, you’ll want to make sure to wash your hands for twenty seconds to make sure you get a good thorough clean. - Wet your hands with clean water. It does not matter if the water is warm or cold. But keep the water running. Then turn off the tap, and apply soap.
- Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Do this to the back of both hands. Make sure to get between your fingers, and under your nails.
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. To time it, sing the “Macarena” (ok, they use the Birthday song as an example) from beginning to end twice.
- Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
- Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.
